The Last is the Most Important

November 30, 2010 11:00 PM

Way back in 2003 I wrote a post of 60 things to do before I turn 60. It's interesting to look back on. Some of my focus has changed, and some things on it were just plain silly. Well, I'm still silly . . . just in different ways.

I probably won't get 60 things written on this list tonight. I'm not sure if that's depressing or not, but here is an updated and more serious list.

That seems like a pretty good list. Could we call that a bucket list of sorts? The older I get the more I want to sit down and start compiling a bucket list. I wouldn't even know where to start. I am trying to scratch items off my list every single day. I encourage you to quit making excuses (and I am not saying you are) and begin doing these things on your list. I would be more than happy to visit Japan with you, go surfing with you in the Pacific, continue laughing at your jokes, star in a movie right beside you, and even keep laughing at your jokes. Great read sir, and quite inspiring. Good luck!

You should add “make a jello mold of that screaming kid in Walmart.” Then do what we all want to do, and throw it off the Bank One Tower.

A worthy list, to be sure!

I think I may add the “photo log” to my mental list of things to do. Sounds like an interesting project.

Oh, and congrats on making it all the way though NaBlo!

I like this. I'll keep laughing and being hopeful because of the gRegors. =)

I'd like to try surfing, but also scuba diving/snorkeling.
