@joeld I am still pretty pro-databases, but mostly due to knowledge and momentum. I think the maintenance of static HTML over time is much less time-intensive than the DBA tax, though. And less brittle. I guess it depends on the needs and how frequently one changes publishing platforms.

@gRegorLove For a single-page site I agree. It all depends what you want to be able to do with your content. (RSS, category listings, etc.)
