Three Things

I saw JoJo Rabbit last night with Sarah and Elliott. I had high expectations going in because of the director (Taika Waititi) and it did not disappoint. It is a satirical comedy but it has some touching moments.

Several years ago I picked up the book Hidden Things. I wasn’t familiar with it or the author, but the cover caught my attention and I liked the description. It joined my growing to-read shelf and was mostly forgotten about until recently. The story is a mix of a modern-day detective story with fantasy. It’s a bit reminiscent of Neil Gaiman. I have been really enjoying it and would recommend it.

I have been listening to older Cool Hand Luke and reminiscing. They were always one of my favorite bands to see at Cornerstone Festival.
