Dawn of the Day Dwellers
Today was the test of my return to day dwelling: I was scheduled to work at 9AM. I've been slowly returning to a more 'normal' sleep schedule, but certainly hadn't been waking up by 9AM. I got to bed at a decent hour last night and set my alarm for 7 so I'd have time to wake up and eat breakfast before heading out at 8 (plus the likely snooze button usage, heh heh). Well I ended up waking up at 6:30, well-rested and totally awake. That was quite nice. Even though I'm not much of a morning person, it does feel good when I get up early and get a good start to the day. I was able to have some fresh-ground coffee, eat breakfast, and spend some time praying and reading my Bible while listening to the 'Ascents' album - a good worship album I haven't listened to in some time.
This weekend there are two Wolfy concerts that I plan on attending. They put on quite a good live show and are one of the better local bands in my opinion. I think they'll go far if they stick with it. Check out their mp3s on their site. (they're piano-rock sounding, by the way)
Myspace is fun. My friend Ti (bone) found me on there yesterday, and through her I found out my friend Jafar (pronounced: Jaf-ah) is also on there, which is cool because I haven't seen or heard from him in about 2 years. Now we can keep in touch a bit easier.
That's about all for now. I think it's time for some chinese food.

it's a little o' both, gee-Regor. :-D
no just kidding...
well, maybe not. i don't have a better answer.
no, i have not heard dennis bayne culp's ascents album. i am poor. too poor to buy most of the cd's i want, but my sister said she and her husband are going to give me an amazon.com gift cert for christmas. i'm considering asking her to switch it to bestbuy, but...i think bestbuy got rid of free shipping, in which case amazon is better.
i think i, too, am going to have chinese for lunch. if my friend will ever get here.
and no, karla is not the one who ruined our toilet.
