Long Live The Muppets

In case you have not already heard, there is a new Muppets movie coming out this Thanksgiving!

I am super excited about this movie, but was disheartened to read this today:

Here's the Hollywood rumor: If this movie doesn't make it, the Muppets will be all but retired. They'll still be on “Sesame Street,” but the slightly sharper-edged “Muppet Show”-style humor will be mothballed, with the idea being that a new generation just doesn't care for Kermy, Miss Piggy, the Swedish Chef, Animal, Statler and Waldorf and the rest.

As that article goes on to say, this cannot be allowed to happen. Everyone should go see this movie!

I think it'll do fine. It's got big name stars, comes out during a holiday weekend, and people are already buzzing about it online. Shouldn't be an issue. :)

Not to worry - they're only saying that to trick more people into watching the movie. :)
