My parents are auctioning their house tonight. It’s actually three auctions: one for the house and then two larger plots of land. They have the final say on whether it sells — depends if it brings in enough — but I’m pretty hopeful that it goes well. They’re moving to Montana.
I’m excited for them, but it’s also weird to think about not having family ties in Indiana anymore. We moved there in 1992, so there’s a lot of memories. I have great friends that live there, so there’s still that connection. I will still visit, but now I don’t have the built-in holiday trips.
P.S. I’m pretty sure this means no more bonfires. We had a good run!
Insert reductionist "participation trophies" comment. They're broken records.
Comedians complaining about the "outrage machine" and having to "water down" their work is getting old.
Enjoyed the @FinestCityImpro show tonight. I think I'll check out classes in the spring to get back into it.
Looking forward to checking out the San Diego improv scene.

I love them both, though it's been a while since I've listened to them. Thanks for the reminder!
